Splicing materials used for repairing Conveyor belt Case analyze

A coal mining company in USA transported coal from a mine on a conveyor belt with a width of 64 inches (1600 mm) at a speed of 1.6m/s. During the operation of the belt, the belt was impacted and local coal accumulation was uneven, causing the belt to run on one side. Unfortunately, because the company's conveyor belt had been deviating for a long time and was scratched by hard objects, it finally tore, so it had to stop working.

We supply “BAI-OTT” splicing materials( uncured rubber and cover rubber ZJ-FTG AND ZJ-STB ) , our Hot Adhesive SA8000 ,Cleaning slovert SA3500, Tungsten disc and our vulcanized press machine to  this customer. We guide this customer to joint this belt step by step.Such as how to pell steel, how to put the uncured tie gum rubber（ZJ-FTG）and cover cover rubber sheet (ZJ-STB), how to clean steel use our SA3500 and so on.

Especially,After the vulcanization work is completed, allow the heating plate to cool naturally or pass water for cooling. However, forced cooling by watering the heating plate surface is not allowed. The vulcanizing machine can be dismantled when the belt cools to below 100 degrees. During the cooling process, the pressure should still be maintained at about 1Mpa. Repair interfaces and side glue overflow, and check the quality of glue joints.

Using layered bonding belt joints with our materials, the joints are bonded through heating, pressure and other methods. The joint strength is 80%-90%. It is an ideal method at present. It can make the joints completely sealed, not affected by moisture and have a long life and running stably.
